Opening a small business almost 20 years ago was one of the most frightening, yet rewarding, steps of my career. At that time, corporate banks were not focused on an average homeowner or making home-ownership affordable. They required large down payments and primarily serviced the needs of high-end homeowners. This did not sit well with me.
The average Oklahoman deserves the same respect and access to mortgage funding, regardless if the loan is $50,000 or $1M dollars. I am happy with my choice to take a stand for equality and be a voice for those, who before 2000, had fewer loan choices and higher cost of home ownership. My way of thinking is clearly not accepted by everyone in our industry, I can live with this. I could not live with is knowing I had the knowledge and talent to help others, and wasted the opportunity to serve.

I have been working as a junior Account Executive for Allbright Mortgage and have enjoyed working with the values the company stands for. Everyone at Allbright has a true passion for helping people no matter who they are and sees customers as people not just profit figures. For many of our customers home ownership is the biggest investment of their life and the process can seem stressful. I do everything possible to make sure our customer’s home buying experience is full of excitement not stress. It has been most rewarding to help those that have been turned away by others, or that thought home-ownership was impossible for them.
Working within the real estate business as a broker has been a very humbling experience. Being involved in a huge part of an individual’s choice to purchase a home adds much more worth than ink on a paper sheet or numbers in a computer. Being able to share goals and values makes for a memorable experience in a vital decision our customers make. I have had the honor to meet some amazing people in the industry, to learn and grow from them not only from a business aspect but in myself as well. As I carry the knowledge I have obtained I hope to better serve my fellow people in hopes they can put their full trust and confidence in me.
I have been a loan originator (broker) for Allbright Mortgage for 15 years. It has been an honor working with Allbright and Merisa, the best working relationship I have ever had with any company. Our ethics always come first, the customer is the priority. I do everything in my power to provide personal service to each customer, my goal is when the process is complete and the deal is closed the customer is 100% satisfied with my service. This is the most important financial decision my customer will make, and if they have questions, they deserve accurate and prompt answers from me. This has been the most fulfilling business I have ever been a part of, seeing a customer that has been told home ownership isn’t possible and then working with them through the process and getting them into a home is why I have been in this business for 15 years.
I love being a part of something larger that makes a real difference in the lives of people. Working in the mortgage industry is ever changing and challenging. I love the variety and diversity. Every day and every loan is different and I get to interact with such a varied group of people. It means I am always learning
